Well, that's that, then. Australia have won the first Test by 9 wickets inside 3 days, needing just 5 overs to get the 47 required for victory. Warner out for 29. Marsh and Smith the not outs.

Adam Voges was Man of the Match for his debut hundred.

Haddin & Watson: what were they thinking. Well I suppose it's a stretch to say thinking. Utter disregard for the moment, the opposition & not valuing their wickets.

The only thing missing from that statement is the word "again"!!

The young man bowled quite well, but not 6 fa well.

Haddin and his concrete boots should've gone a long time ago, a small front foot stride at that ball and it's a well bowled dot ball. Horrendous lack of footwork at any level let alone the highest of all.

Aussies go 1 up with solid win.

Adam Voges - duly named Man of the Match - Played a big part in Australia's First Test win, against the West Indies.
His 130 n.o., coupled with the 10 wkt. partnership of 97 with Josh Hazelwood (39) set the Aussies up for a good first innings lead.

Mitchell Starc took 4/28 from 18 overs to see the Windies' second innings total just 216, leaving 47 for needed for the win. Dave Warner attacked in typical fashion, scoring 28 from 20 balls.
Australia won by 9 wickets.

With Rogers still unavailable, Australia are unlikely to make any changes unless the pitch looks like a raging turner.

And Smith has just successfully reviewed being given out LBW. Whew, this is a struggle. 4/217 from 73 overs.

I see that Bishoo was dropped by the WIndies after bowling brilliantly in the first test. Very strange.
