I knew a girl in high school nicknamed Turtle.

Apparently once you got her on her back she was £$%$ed.

Really? Just shows how wrong you can be. I hesitate to admit this, but I have to be honest here and admit that I always thought that Hiss was your father. Sorry. My mistake. Won't happen again.

Instead of IVF, why can't there be some sort of program where the next homosexual couple in the queue can get a baby from a mother addicted to heroin or something such as????

Would kill 2 birds with one stone.

My wife worked in child care and there was a lesbian couple who enrolled their child and demanded that staff treat the child as gender neutral, and avoid using terms such as he/she/his/her. Their word of choice was "it".

I personally think that was a form of child abuse and I see him/her growing up to be one pretty messed up teenager.

I'm all for gender neutral pronouns, but I'm not sure about "it". Laughing

The Swedes have done this right, I think:

Interesting indeed. Some of what i read there could be put down to just plain bad parenting, sexuality of the parents being irrelevant. Those examples don't make a case either way IMO.

Nothing more to be said after Stuis comment on page 1 me thinks.

Really, TP? Are we just going to post every horror story we've heard about same-sex parents in this thread?

Perhaps someone could follow Skids' lead and make a tracker of them. Sad

^ A reference to the Muslim atrocities tracker you were posting. The point is, you could do the same with any social phenomenon that one could want to paint a negative picture of (Islam, same-sex parenting, 'lenient' sentencing, stupid things said by feminists on the internet, innocent civilians killed by US drone strikes), and thus give the impression to a casual observer that the accumulation of these negative events says something meaningful about the phenomenon in question.

Because that, likely unintentionally, was exactly what TP was doing by posting that out-of-context bad news story.

Actually it was about maybe bad gay parents, so I'm not sure how that's not in context to the subject?

And how exactly did I drag skids into it?
