I was there and remember it was a great moment in Football History. Then we sent him to Carlton to start the destruction. |
It was an Easter Monday and i was there too. My family had gone to Adelaide for the long weekend but I made us all get up and leave by car at 5 am on the Monday to ensure I got to the game in time. My wife was not impressed, but I sure was when I was there to see perhaps the greatest run of all time. He was genius our Mickey. |

It was the first game I went to at the G.
The reserves game was a draw and the hairs on my neck stand up whenever I talk about that goal!
It was Bucks 4th game with the club and the goal he kicked just before Micks effort was amazing .... won the ball off half back, passed it, ran on to get it back just past the square and slotted it in the run from outside 50👍 _________________ Don't count the days, make the days count. |
