The kid showed some promise but also showed why we weren't prepared to pay a high draft pick for him.

I hope Moore can have a second season like McCarthy.

That kid has some serious talent.

Any chance we can steal McCarthy from GWS and let them keep Stewart?

Sadly, McCarthy is from W A . Dockers are right into him to replace Pav.

Could be interesting with Patton coming back next year. If I was Stewart, I would think that I would be the first one to lose my spot. Im sure plenty of other Vic clubs would be thinking the same thing.

Neither have I Dave. My comment was not a knock on Freeman, just lamenting the missed opportunity for us to draft a genuinely talented key forward. They don't come around that often Sad

If we had both McCarthy and Moore as our future KPF's we would be laughing all the way to the bank, but what's done is done I guess...

McCarthy reminds me a bit of John Anthony bit of a one trick pony. Lead up and mark etc.. He did nail that one from the boundary right in front of me but then proceeded to screamed like someone removed his left testicle...which took all credibility away from the goal.

I thought he looked really ordinary last Sunday.
I saw nothing that made me sit up and take notice.

Haha, to paraphrase John Madden "You hate to see that on a football field"
