Ramsay is still not a certainany this week. Sounds like he'll have to come back via vfl. Has had too many weeks out for an inexperienced player. |

Yeah, Ramsay and Greenwood could both play VFL as soon as next week. Moore and Sinkers getting close as well. |

The injury report shows that we don't have a single player on the long term injury list. All are expected to begin playing in a few weeks time. Of course, the jury is out on Reid and Freeman, given their history of recurring injuries, but nevertheless we seem to be in remarkably good shape compared to most teams. |

It is always going to be a bit tougher than the injury list suggests given we have lost Keefe and Thomas…
Time for some kids and others to put in some good games in the magoos and build pressure for a run in the senior team!
ATM Tooves would be pushing but unless there is an injury no-one else demands a spot. Even greenwood will need a week or two in the magoos and ditto for Reid… _________________ Love us or Hate us... we are Collingwood - you can't ignore the Mighty Magpies!!! |

What the hell is with our medical team. Are they just ridiculously cautious? |

At the risk of getting flamed, I dont mind them being ultra cautous. Rather this than rush players back only to get bloody injured again. _________________ Don't confuse your current path with your final destination. As long as we are cautious at the selection table also…
No need to select injured players when we are developing the list with plenty of players over the next year or so who are capable of playing role - fit! _________________ Love us or Hate us... we are Collingwood - you can't ignore the Mighty Magpies!!! |

Anyone have anymore word on Freeman? Balme's update makes it seem that he's likely to return next week:

Disappointing that Ramsay's injury ended up such a long termer, was going so well. On the plus side: after yesterday's performance we look to have two excellent potential replacements, obviously Sinclair, but Maynard was also impressive.

Read somewhere a poster asked Freeman at the VFL yesterday when he will be back and he said in two weeks ( Western Bullies VFL game). They means he only will have 8 VFL games left to develop. I have my doubts he will figure at senior level this year. He needs lots of match time. _________________ Magpies love pies(Lol) |

It's disappointing that Freeman's had another year riddled with injuries, but hopefully he ends the season well with no more further setbacks for the rest of the year when he returns to the VFL and then he can focus for pushing into the senior side next year. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

I'm not that fussed with him this season, I'd be amazed if he broke into the senior team, His ear tag says R1-2016.😀 _________________ Defender...........

Articles in the Age suggest Reid might play this weekend against the Hawks.
Will be huge for us if he can make an impact. _________________ Ohhh, the Premiership's a cakewalk ....... |
