| Post subject: Channel 7 commentators |  |
|
I tried to watch replay of pies vs Hawks but had to turn it off as it was making me sick the bias commentating. Fair dinkum they had Varcoe going straight to tribunal and don't get me started on love child Rioli and hodge. Made me want to vomit.
Now I watch with no volume and it's the best commentary ever.

Well Brucey is on it and Can’t Listen to him when Rioli is on.
Plus they just have all-anti Collingwood People calling games anyway.
Leigh Matthews is the only decent one they have

| Channel 9s coverage was simply better, from cameras to commentators to graphics. I really hope they win it back. |

| Channel 7 commentary is choreographed dribble. Foxtel do it much better. |

Bruce should have retired years ago but it's clear that Hamish will be his natural successor as he seems to be on channel 7 for any sporting events they televise such as the Melbourne Cup and Australian Open like Bruce has been for a number of years now!

My TV needs a Commetti-only button, or at least a Bruce filter. Bruce must the most oily, gushing irritant ever to discharge from a speaker.

Since technology has not evolved an effective d!ckhead filter; Perhaps as part of a club membership package we should have our own Collingwood channel feed where the same vision is used but the audio feed comes from a club run channel.

Dunstall snipes us from the commentary box every chance he gets, but I agree Foxtel are miles ahead of channel 7. Much more detail about the play and stats, where as if BT and Richo are on all, count on them critiquing hair cuts for half an hour. |

Funny how BT was voted best commentator for 4 years running during his time with Foxtel and Triple M (first incarnation) but like a lot of tall poppy sentiment, he was ridiculed and critiqued from day 1 when he went to 3AW and Channel 7.
He was making player I.D errors back in 1991 during his 3UZ days and his jovial humour based commentating has been part of his schtick all the way through. Don't mind him and he is a Pies man!!

| I watch the games through Fox and have the sound muted. During breaks I will listen to David King and that's it. |

I actually muted the bastards at half time, with soft guitar music in the background, and i enjoyed it much, much more without Mcaveny wanking over his delicious Dawks and his love child Rioli, from now on, i will mute them, Darcy and Ling are dickheads anyway.

Geez people are paying way to much attention to the commentators, I listen to them for the play by play not the editorials, I zone out when there's a break in play and they talk too much.
When I go to games I listen to Triple M on the radio while I'm watching
