THIS!!!! We have Pendlebury and a few alright inside mids but no absolute class alongside him, we used to have Pendles and Swan along with Beams, Ball and some good mids but now Beams is gone and Swan is about finished we need some class. A couple of our kids might become this but by then Pendles will be done. |

Yep, our last great winning streak pissed against the wall.
Well done arsehats.
I will be watching replay later to see which players didn't hurt enough from last weeks effort.
Lose to Eade's crippled shit-kickers next week, and I WILL divorce myself from the club. Be warned.

Spot on. Broomhead looked lost and Karnezis is as slow as wet snail dragging a chain across a snowfield. |
Add Witts to that list of outs in my view.
The gameplan today was woeful. Way too much handpass. Beaten in contested possession again is very worrying considering richmond are uncontested specialists. |

Thank God Melbourne Victory won 3 nil. That at least gave me something to cheer about.
Pathetic Pies, really terrible. They are the games you just can't afford to lose in a tight run for the finals. Our season is on the ropes now - literally. _________________ You can keep your Locketts. There was only ONE Gordon Coventry! |

This was a game we could have won, however, ups and downs are too be expected. We are a young team learning to play together.
I don't think (realistically and honestly) we can expect too much this year.
As long as we continue to develop and get games into our young guys it is as much as we can expect.
Glad to see Cloke bag a few.
De goey showed glimpses. Even Adams seemed to have improved his kicking today.
When we get Steele and Greenwood back should help.
Yes I am disappointed we did not win but not devastated. _________________ carn the mighty pies! |

I wouldn't go putting my house on that.....
W are a woeful side at present and we are poorly coached....period. |
Sorry woeful is what Melbourne, Suns and Carlton dished up.
We lost narrowly to a fellow lower/mid range side in a game in which neither side gave in at any point.
We aren't that good but we aren't woeful either. |
Richmond are $h!t Flash make no mistake, the Crows pull our pants down and then racked the cue Geelong did the same, maybe woeful is to harsh maybe what we've beaten is woeful.....maybe we are just plain ordinary...
I don't really give a feck, I know it's $h!thouse to watch and I know I don't like it |

21 - 13 and bear in mind that we got 3 in the last 3 minutes. Until then it was 21-10.
If you think frees don't affect a game, just take note that only 2 other Richmond players got 21 kicks. Take out the two frees when it was too late, the difference was 11, and 11 Richmond players got less kicks than that. _________________ If you used to barrack for the 'Pies, you never barracked for the 'Pies. |

To be fair to Jesse White and that miss I think he was still getting over the shock of taking a contested mark _________________ Formally frankiboy and FrankieGoesToCollingwood. |

Jessie White, what can you say that hasn't been said before |
Jessica Rabbit. |
That easy snap that he missed in the first quarter, which he also could've hand balled over the top to Grundy was pretty bad. We had them on the rack at that stage and you felt a goal at that point in time would've been a knockout punch.
Swan: often throws it on the boot and hopes for the best. Does anyone know how many turnovers he caused today?
Karnezis: too slow to be sub. I thought the idea of the sub was to bring on fresh quick legs.
That said we're one of many teams that's in contention to fall just in or just out of the eight. So inconsistent performances are going to be par for the course.
Go Pies!

I actually thought we fought it out pretty well. Before the game I thought we'd smash the Tigers, but they played to save their season today. We paid dearly for not being much further ahead at quarter time. We just lacked a bit of class in the end. We have a bunch of youngsters and they'll be better in time. We really miss Sidey and Pendles ankle injury has finally caught up with him. I expect him to miss one or two weeks now. Karnezis is simply not an AFL player and should never be picked again. He is far too slow and lacks intensity. Broomhead is a shadow of his form from late last year. Perhaps he needs a few weeks in the VFL. Losing Toovey proved fatal as we were unable to control their fast forwards after that. Varcoe does some nice things, but seems incapable of really impacting the game. I'm not too upset at today. We are a middle of the road team in re-building mode. Games like this should really be 50/50 which is what it was. It could have gone either way. De Goey did a few good things and will be better for the run. |

That could have gone either way, good game of footy.
Id like to see Degoey kept in the side.
Not sure if PK is gonna make it.
Broomy to light.
Hope Ramsay comes back in. |

Fair enough mate and I agree with you. We ARE ordinary and it does hurt to lose games we realistically should win.
Maybe we need to lower our expectations and just pump the games into the kids and enjoy the ride with an eye to the future mate. |
