Last year, we went in to boardbeach before hand to have lunch and caught the bus from there, as everyone has said the bus is free if you have your ticket

Back in the bears days you could drive and park across in the vacant land opposite the ground but that's been bought and developed since.

Last year parked at a car park a few miles away from the stadium, bus picks you up there. Fricken awful experience! The first time we got a lift but had no one to take us last year! And yes it's Queensland, but that stadium is a wind tunnel, don't forget a scarf and a jacket. The first time we went there, was the coldest I'd ever been at the footy!

It is like a maze - literally, where the canals form the hedges of the maze. Expect to drive 50 kms to go 2 kms as the crow flies. A shocking mosquito infested steaming turd of a place. No wonder we hate playing there!

Not quite Hiss. You can't get shot at Surfers (unless in a drive by shooting).

If you get the G-Train to Broadbeach there are special buses to the game. The same on return, bus to Broadbeach and then G-Train to Surfers. |

If you get the G-Train to Broadbeach there are special buses to the game. The same on return, bus to Broadbeach and then G-Train to Surfers. |
When I went the buses had stopped by games end. Perhaps being an earlier time slot it will be ok

| Last year there were heaps of buses ( and security and police!) Also heaps of taxis, it just took a while to queue up! |

Huh? There were queues of special buses out the front for miles. Not public, just for the footy crowd. Grab a beer for the queue though!

Oh Good. I must admit the last time I went was when the stadium first opened. Obviously they have addressed a few of the problems.
Perhaps one day I will venture back from my comfy nook in northern queensland to the cess pool that is the gold coast.

Ah yes when it was still in the middle of paddocks, and you had to run down the highway if you wanted a friend to pick you up! It's changed a lot, but not much better, they need to buy a paddock and build a bloody car park! It's fricken terrible!
