The reason for the thread split, in case anyone isn't clear, was that Skids was posting these lists in the existing thread about ISIS (which itself was split from a thread that was half about ISIS and half about ebola; an ample justification for thread-splitting if I ever saw one!).

Conflating the horrific actions of that relatively small and non-representative group of militants with a list of every bad thing Muslims have done ever. But there's nothing in Nick's BB's rules to prevent Skids from posting these lists, even if I happen to personally think it's a sinister, unhelpful exercise and an incredibly boring one at any rate. So the only solution was to house them in a thread of their own which would also allow for broader discussion of the phenomenon at hand.

But in any case, I agree with P4S.
