Very sad news. A towering figure in the Blues and in the history of the electric guitar.

Can't really believe that the media think that it somehow adds to his importance that he played with U2.

Since most folks in the media who write the copy would only just know who U2 is this shouldn't surprise.

But yeh, as we've said, gotta expect a glut of prominent passings over the next decade.

BB is a giant of a loss to be sure.

And very fitting that he should be laid to rest in Mississippi.

The Land Where The Blues Began is such an essential read for anyone remotely interested in the blues.
