Post subject: Mike Sheahan interview with Swanny on FOX | |
|
Swanny's on now giving as good as he gets with that grub Mike Sheahan. Boy what a gutter journo he really is. They've spent 30 minutes so far talking about tatts and controversy. Sheahan obviously has a huge dislike for the man, but to Swanny's credit he hasn't taken the bait. Nice to see him stand up for his good mate Scotty Cummings as well. He is proud of the rat pack despite Sheahan's own paper putting pictures of rats with our players' faces on them (a tactic the Nazis tried once).
Stick to retirement Sheahan you grub! |

It was great!!! Love Swanny.
Funny how people view things differently. Swanny was making the point that he always has - "I am what I am" and so be it. Sheahan would have said at least half a dozen times to him "Fair enough point". Didn't see any dislike coming from either of them. _________________ "Hear the barrackers are shouting as all barrackers should,

Swanny was terrific.
However, it seemed like he may have thrown Scott Cummings under a bus, on some stupid podcast thingy, which led to Cummings losing his job, jr coaching and causing stress with his wife. I've got no idea what it was about, but perhaps this was one occasion where Swanny could have admitted his stupidity led to bad ramifications for another person. Being a larrikin is fine, but when your antics cause pain to others, then it is simply irresponsible.
That aside, he still seems to be a loveable rogue and it was great to hear him say he goes to most Pies games and loves the club. |

The media did make the podcast sound worse than what it was and it didn't help that it came out when the hysteria about male toxicity was at its peak.
Basically they were looking up their names with the word Dirty in front of it on the urban dictionary, (ie. Dirty Dane, Dirty Scott and Dirty Ralph) and were laughing at the ridiculous definitions.
It was just unfortunate that some of the definitions involved questionable and non-consensual sex acts so that was twisted into them promoting and joking about rape. _________________ How would Siri know when to answer "Hey Siri" unless it is listening in to everything you say? |

The 'me too' movement and snowflakes of the world are destroying having a laugh, at anything!
What a joke society is becoming, pandering to whining fools. _________________ “There are a lot better players who have come through the club and haven’t made it. I just got my opportunity at the right time.” Swanny. |

It's a podcast. You have to choose to download it and listen to it, it's not like it's on prime time TV or commercial radio where you could accidentally hear it.
I liken this to someone going to see a stand up comedian known for their risque and politically incorrect material, and getting upset and complaining. So other people who wouldn't watch or listen to it, get copies, climb up on their pulpit and launch into the comedian.
I disagree that Cummings isn't a victim here. _________________ Arguing with an idiot is like playing chess with a pigeon. No matter how good you are, the bird is going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it won anyway. |
