I'm excited. Arnie's still got it but I'm not sure about the new Sarah Connor.

Always loved the Terminator trilogy especially the first two movies and I did see the third one as well but I wasn't as impressed with it especially with James Cameron no longer directing the movie. I never ended up seeing Terminator Salvation so I can't comment on that movie.

I saw the trailer that you linked and it looks exciting I must say. I don't think it will reach the heights of the first two movies but seeing Arnie in a more prominent role and bringing back the likes of Sarah Connor and the T-1000 should be exciting even though the T-1000 looks Chinese in this movie. There's a lot of recasts in this movie by the looks of it.

Nevertheless I look forward to seeing whether it can surpass my expectations as I don't have very high expectations this will be successful apart from the spectacular special effects which I'm sure will be great as usual.

I might consider watching Salvation some time soon TP! I never really got around to watching it for some reason.

How it does compare to say Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines in terms of the quality of the movie? I heard that in Salvation Arnie only had a small cameo role so he wasn't in it if at all.

ehhh, still milking the Terminator cash cow.

I suppose the new movie is closer to Terminator 2 which is good.
Terminator 3 was awful, Salvation was OK at best.

I don't think I've seem Salvation, but obviously the reason the terminator is aging is because of the real human skin etc grown over a metal chassis.
