Will be a case of "Sunday Bloody Sunday" against Bitchmond, when our 22 takes on their 23. Mark my words, this guy has one agenda and one agenda only...to turn any potentially close game, into a loss for the black and white. To get over the line we have to be CLEARLY better than our opposition, whenever and wherever Adolf Schmidt is officiating.

Happy to revisit this thread on Sunday night and be proven wrong.

I know I won't be.

He wears number 17.

All hail SCHMIDT!

I'll never forget that bastards absolutely disgraceful umpiring against us last season.

The Pendlebury incident was bad enough but Schmidts crowning achievement was the second West Coast game in Perth. We lost the free kick count 27-10 that day with Schmidt gifting the Weagles 9 free kicks in the first quarter alone.

I defy anyone who says there is no bias amongst the umpiring fraternity to watch that game and tell me that Schmidt doesn't have an agenda against Collingwood, fat prick that he is.

Does it make anyone feel better knowing that ex-scum player "Jordan Bannister" is also officiating alongside Adolf Schmidt???

Just checked...you're right.
The "Bannister" bullet dodged, we just need to contend with "Schmidt's shit" now.

So do I but it gets very annoying when the players you are focussing on keep getting pinged for frees against at breakneck speed all the while being denied deserved frees for by the subject of this thread time and again.

Ones focus becomes somewhat clouded behind the red mist that descends across your visage in those circumstances I find.

The concept of truly unbiased umpires may be all very well for blind optimists or the logically challenged but when a single team has been castigated and hated universally by every other team and supporter for nearly 100 years it defies belief that every umpire would be above it.

Of course some umpires are biased - it's human nature after all.

Never have, never will. I make it my business not to know who the umpires are, their names, their numbers, colours... whatever. To me, they're all umpires. I can honestly tell you, if you put up a photo of every umpire over the last 35 years that I've watched footy, I'd be lucky to name 3 of them. I can never understand that interest. How on earth can you expect to enjoy a game going in with such negatives thoughts? The game's already lost!
