we're currently fifth. If we win tomorrow we will go to back to fourth. If we lose we could drop to sixth.

Actually, with the Hawks beating the Saints we're sixth. If we win tomorrow we'll go past the Hawks to 5th.

We'll also go past the Giants because we have a better percentage. Then we'll be fourth. If we win.

And that'd really set the scene for a 4th v 5th clash next week at the G.

Our percentage is most likely going to take a solid hit over the next four weeks; I'm hoping for respectable losses to Whorkes and Freo at least.

Wonder if we'll chance bringing Reid back straight after the bye to help deal with a tough month?

Big ask going to WA to face Freo in his first game back. I 'd prefer him to ease him back in the week after against Hawthorn. Shocked

I'd prefer him to get through a couple of 4 quarter VFL games before we even consider him for senior selection.

Pies are ranked second to Hawks for second halves. We have only lost one second half this year. Massive turnaround from last year.

Yep, it's a credit to the fitness staff. Even better, it shows that the troubles of last season were not for naught, the extra training load has clearly had a positive effect.

This week really, really important. Assuming we all agree that Port is going to make the 8 and looking at the 8 as currently composed, I'd have to suggest that we might be competing with GWS for the final spot in the 8. Maybe Richmond as well, but I think it would serve us well to get a game up on GWS.

Really a must win game for us given our next 5.
