tongue firmly in cheek, mate - I think we'll be battling to remain in the 8, tbh. But lovin' the ride!

About time we beat one of the middle of the road shit sides.

Development year or not, we should be beating teams like Richmond, North and Geelong.

GWS game is going to be very interesting, win that and we might finish top 4

You might change your mind if you look at our fixture after the bye. But if we're bolstered by the return of Reid and Greenwood and don't lose anyone else of note ya never know.

Anywho, my boss is a North supporter. When I see him this week and he's moaning and groaning I'm gonna say "I thought you'd be proud of your boys. They got within 17 points of a top four team" Twisted Evil

Yes its a tough few weeks, but the run home is those same shit teams we have already beaten. So whilst some may make smart comments about beating no one, we play a few of them again!

If we beat GWS and Melbourne, then beat our 5 repeat opponents there's 13 wins, beat the welfare and snare a game or 2 against better teams and that's comfortable top 4.

I'm still amazed we're in the top 4 but I'll definitely take this! I'm rueing that we lost to Richmond two weeks ago but great to beat North today.

The next few weeks will be a real test for us and if we do end up playing finals this year then I think that's a really good year for us overall considering where we're at as a young developing side.

We had a shocker of a draw last year, and managed to win eight games in the first half of the year. We are on track to repeat this, but we do not have everybody in the medical room.

a benign draw helped Adelaide a couple of years ago, and North and Richmond last year. It is worth it to play the palookas before they get feral, and play their line in the sand game against guess who...

Gonna be tough but we "should" win the next two weeks. It's after the bye that things get scary... Freo in Freo, Dawks, Port in Port, Wet Toast at the G and Dogs at the G. If we can scrounge two wins from that lot we'll be in good shape. Mind you we're showing a lot of ticker this year so I doubt we'll just turn the toes up in any of those contests. Freo in Freo scares me a lot right now!

freo in freo scares me too. on a thursday night that game. no reason why we can't snag two games from the four after the bye.

Was listening to Pickers on SEN yesterday. He reckons you can lock the top three in as being Hawthorn, Sydney and Freo. But you can throw a blanket over a bunch of teams who could grab fourth spot and he reckons the Pies are in that group.

Supreme optimist in me says that Hawthorn will not make the top 4, either the Moggies, Tiggers or our good selves will block the juggernaut, and they will finish fifth, as they did in 1990...

If they finish 4th, or even third, they will make the long trip to Perth, which will soften them up for a home final against who knows - Footscray, Moggies etc. The Hawks will be shirty, and will run over the top of the opposition, but will come unstuck in the preliminary, so 3 in a row becomes a pipe dream.

Ourselves will finish fifth or sixth, hopefully get payback to Port or the Ponces for 2013 and 2006...

Then fight an honorable final against either Swans or Hawks.
