Just let let me remind you where we could be:
There is a team which has black and white stripes, called the Magpies, which has knew success at the same time as our glory days, 1927, when it last won the English championship. It won the FA Cup in 1955. In spite of the loyalty and fanaticism of it's fans, success has tormented and teased this mob only to have it snatched away, sort of like us.
Currently they live on life support, the owner Mike Ashley refuses to put real money into players, so they hover perpetually above relegation, a club without hope.
We have that commodity, hope, and faith. In spite of the Cardinals, the Pharisees, the Inquisition, Wayne Fairy Godfather Jackson and Stevic, we're still here, we're still a shot at the title, maybe not this year, but in years to come. Isn't that a hell of a lot better than being Newcastle Bl**dy United. |

| If someone said before the season started that we'd be 3-1 after the first rounds I'd have been happy with that. Considering everyone would have had us at 1-3. |

Always fun to laugh at the ladder permutations in the first few rounds.
As we know, reality will set in by June-July when each or most teams have played one another.
We were going great guns at "the turn" in 2014, before things went pear shaped. Anyhoo, one week at a time.
