Travis appears to have significantly, but legitimately, damaged an opponent in every game so far - great to see his hardness at the ball.

He was an outside player at Geelong because that was the role he needed to play but it's terrific to see his hardness at the ball and contest and some of the pressure acts he's produced since he's come across to us.

I didn't think he had that aspect to his game and look forward to seeing a lot more of it in the coming year.

He was carrying a lot of "too soft" baggage at the Cattery.
Here he is off the leash and offering real leadership to the younger players out on the ground.
Great pick up by the club!

I couldn't have been more impressed with him last week, fingers crossed he can maintain that intensity for the most part.

I haven't seen Varcoe's version of Wrecking Ball, is it on Youtube?

Ron Jeremy's version is scary enough. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6xljA6zJn4I

Hes had a rocket for sure before the saints game. It was chalk and cheese.
The challenge will be to see that intensity every week. Bring that pressure and intensity against the good teams and he will win me over quickly.

Agree with posters praising his efforts - left nothing in the tank. Couldn't ask for more, his future depends on how regularly he can produce it.

Mentally scarred. Mad

I had to go watch the Miley original after that to stop my knob resembling a pressed stud.

Ron certainly has a very large err belly button.

It's fugly.

Yeah, I get you.

But hey, scars come with the territory sometimes. Wink

Just to be on topic for a brief milisecond, Varcoe was genuinely impressive against St Kilda with his hardness and repeat efforts.
