1 - we have plenty of tall defenders.
2 - he isn't that good & not worth big money. |
This.
Shopping list consists of:
1).A grade mid who uses ball well.
2). Key forward.
3). Key forward
4). Small forward |

Agree that he's not really what we need and we therefore shouldn't go after him too hard, but people are massively underrating him on the back of one bad game which wasn't even really that bad.
I'd say our needs in order are:
1) midfielder who uses the ball well. We have a ton of big bodied mids who can get the ball, but we have zero run outside of Sidebottom and zero polish outside of Pendlebury. Hopefully De Goey or Freeman fills this role, but we could use another one anyway.
2) Mid sized half forward. My ideal player would be an upgraded version of Goldsack who can take a decent mark in one out contests, hit the scoreboard and tackle. Basically Gavin Crosisca in 1990. I always liked Macaffer as a forward and wish Bucks would play him there more often, even if he's a poor shot for goal.
3) Rebounding half back. We have a ton of small to mid back line players who can't kick and none who can. It shouldn't be that hard to find such a player. Scharenberg can hopefully be this guy, or maybe Seedsman can play there permanently, but we definitely need someone with some class back there. _________________ "We ain't gotta dream no more" |

No, that was 2013 when Cloke was decidedly not seriously out of form. Rance didn't even play against us last year.
And, again, who cares if Cloke towelled him up when he wouldn't have to play against him if we did get him? _________________ "We ain't gotta dream no more" |

Ok, 2013 then. A minor detail, sure. But you agreed that he's not really what we need _________________ Formally frankiboy and FrankieGoesToCollingwood. |

Agree. If we're going to chuck money at a free agent may he be either a gun midfielder or big Key forward. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Well after watching the vfl today it's quite apparent we're in dire need of a key forward. _________________ Formally frankiboy and FrankieGoesToCollingwood. |

His head's not in the game, wants to go and work for his faith, he's toast.
I was however, interested to learn that Jehovahs Witnesses don't celebrate Halloween,
I guess they don't like random people coming up and knocking on their door. |

No thanks. Linked to the Lions too where apparently he got on well with Leppitsch.
Prefer Danger or Treloar in the mids.
Cam McCarthy at GWS also shows good signs as a tall forward. _________________ One team, one dream - the Pies and this year's premiership |
