Assuming all are fit and playing well
Let's say Pendles, Swan and Sidey are our 3 guaranteed starters, how the hell do we fit Adams, Greenwood, Crisp, Broomhead, Kennedy, De Goey, Varcoe, Dwyer, Blair, Freeman and possibly Thomas in the mix?
It's a nice problem to have and I don't like talking trades this early on in the year but me thinks we'll have some serious decisions to make regarding trades and list management at the end of the year. _________________ Formally frankiboy and FrankieGoesToCollingwood. |

some of them will play on the wings or forward and be part of the midfield rotations. maybe we will have the luxury of managing players when playing certain opponents. _________________ Purveyor of sanctimonious twaddle. |

Swan may retire at seasons end plus Thomas probably gone just waiting on sample B results
Blair is not a mid neither are Broomhead small forward replaces Fasolo and Freeman who is yet to show anything
Dwyer is depth
Pendles, Sidey, Adams Crisp Greenwood, De Goey, Kennedy and Varcoe nice choice
Also you left out MacAffer and Williams and Oxley and Scharnberg are potential mids _________________ Carlscum 120 years being cheating scum |

The more the better…
Your list includes forwards and players who have not even established senior career yet so lets hold off on the end of year review and cull until we get a little further along this year thanks!
Swan will go out in style in 2016 helping the young resurgent pies to a flag! _________________ Love us or Hate us... we are Collingwood - you can't ignore the Mighty Magpies!!! |

At a minimum, you would have to slot Sidey and Levi into the current team. And personally, Broomy is also straight in once fit. Dropping 2 or 3 isn't an easy choice ATM, but in a few weeks it could be a lot simpler. _________________ kill for collingwood! |

Broomhead is more a mid than forward. He showed his quality through the guts against the Saints, and has consistently killed it as a mid in VFL. His future is as a mid, not a forward. |

His future may be as a mid but he does not yet have the engine to play permanent mid. Plus we seem to have a lot of mids and our forwards consist of Cloke and Elliot. _________________ Carlscum 120 years being cheating scum |

He's a mid alright Neil and that's where he'll play most of his footy from now on. A few quarters forward we will see, but primarily this little champ is a mid. _________________ After the epic draw comes the decisive knockout!

I feel Varcoe has to play, he adds speed, silk, toughness, experience and finishing. Knows how to win a big game. _________________ McRae for Governor-General! |

Yes Swan is contracted until the end of 2016. It's going to be a sad day when he eventually hangs up the boots. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |
