Hey guys.

We just beat Essendon on the 100th anniversary of the Gallipoli landing.

So special and you just know Hird wanted it bad looking at his face after the game.

Now to ruin Mick's milestone.

Go pies!

Today was special, this was the game I wanted us to win, and the sons of bitches did it!!!! I was almost as proud of our boys today as I was in the 2002 GF.

Pretty sure it was a joke.

Shades of 2007 for mine; no-one will want to play us when we bring that level of aggression.

How good was the tackling, from both sides really, but ours particularly

Agree Cracker, not just the tackling but the attitude. Of all our inclusions lately I believe Crisp is the guy that is turning our onball brigade into crash and bash merchants. He has a physicality and presence that, along with Adams and Grundy has changed the nature of our following division.

When you ad 'hard as a cat's head' Greenwood to that mix and possibly get Williams rotating some minutes it gives us a totally new look.

That should be Bucks motto:
hard as a cat's head!

"They've put in a power of work to become harder than a cats head..." Very Happy

Good one Thommo there is no substitute for having warriors on the front line, this allows our better ball users a little more time and space to dispose to advantage.

Yeah cracker nothing like being hard at it . .

It was a tale of 2 coaches and where they're heading, as much as anything.

One stubborn and arrogant to think his team are contenders so tops up his team with has beens.

The other honest and brave enough to recognise that his team were no longer good enough so began to transform his team through youth and character.

They may yet end up above us on the ladder at the end of the year but I know which team is going places! Very Happy

A long and influential friend of mine texted to me after a series of game day banter wrote that essendope will finish higher than we as well. Couldn't think why apart from our younger squad than theirs. but I think attitude leads to success and fig jam hird has been given a lesson in just that. Geez I like beingthe underdog. Ps do you mind if I use your words in reply as theres more sting to its tail?

sure, go ahead Smile

No coincidence that Eade is gone and we are 3-1 and the French Fries are 0-4.

Yep. Wherever Eade goes, mediocrity soon follows.
And virus Lappen is there too yeah? Enough said.

Anyhoo, the Pies were paying $3.00 for the win prior to bounce yesterday.
Did you get in on the action mate?

Dyso
