Hes getting over a long term injury, he must come in, he has huge wraps on him. Him and Moore I want too see come in, sooner the better. !

I'm a little concerned TBH, he's been blitzing on the training track, came second in the 2k iirc so his fitness levels are good, but he's struggling at VFL level, if he isn't tearing up the VFL within a month I reckon we've got a dud on our hands.

A tad harsh methinks. Surprised

So in 4 weeks time if he isn't looking very good at vfl level you won't be concerned?

Bare in mind it's a massive step up to afl level.

AND if the kid does really well, and comes in and stars, can we expect some sort of apology from you mate ?? Confused Surprised

Apologise for what?

Geez I hope so.

But there is the possibility that he doesn't become a 200 gamer; it happens.

I'm sure we all held high hopes for Ryan Cook, Danny Stanley and Adam Iccubucci (spelling?).

All good players, but they never quite made it. It happens a bit with midfield prospects.

That being said, none of the above players were top 10, or even first rounders, so you would hope Freeman becomes a club champ, obviously

Danny Stanley made it he's playing still at Gold Coast.

Is he? I thought they cut him. Good on him, always had a soft spot for Danny.

Point being that it wouldn't be entirely unheard of if it didn't work out with Freeman, and as such we shouldn't over burden him with expectation.

Freeman will likely play senior football this year I think. May not be a permanent feature of the team yet though.

When I asked Dekka last year who out of all the recent recruits was he most excited about .. it was Freeman - inside and outside speed - akin to Luke Shuey.

But his form this year in the VFL has not been great. I spoke to one one of VFL staff last week, and he just not come on this year. And most likely due to his extended injuries.

He's a young kid - and as people have said, just need to build his confidence again. He will come good.

He had a Shocking Hammy Injury last year. That would take awhile to get fully over it

i expect scharenberg to take a little time to get back into the swing of things particularly with gaining full confidence in his knee.

Freeman had the equal most possessions of all our players in the FIRST vfl game of the year so he can't be tracking to badly.

Yes, and ranking highly in their best and fairest count most years.

Well if Egan had pulled his finger out of his arse, where it was well and truly wedged back in 2008, he might well have demanded a spot in the 2010 premiership side.
Greatest waste of talent we are likely to see for some time.
Rant over.
