This would follow on from his rumoured minor injury a month or so ago to his hamstring.
Not great news at all and one wonders when he'll ever get back fit and in form. _________________ He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD! |

And who is going to pay more than Pick 108 for a player who looks set to spend his entire career in the rehab room? Lucky to get $108 for him really. |
Maybe, maybe not.
All will depend on whether he can get back out on the park.
It's a catch 22 though because if he can put together a string of AFL games later in the year we might be loathe to even entertain the idea of a trade because we know what he can deliver at his best on the flip side it might be the best and last opportunity to use him as trade bait while he still has a decent amount of trade value.
He would be a risky buy but get his body right and you know you'd be getting a very good key position player.
Hopefully he can make an impact this season as we still have plenty of time remaining but if Moore and Marsh can keep improving as the year goes on then perhaps just perhaps we could entertain using him as part of a trade for Aish or another. _________________ He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD! |

A "nick" is it? Wish they'd just level with us and say we'll be lucky to see him this year as well.
FFS. The guy can play but he just reinforces why it's (imo) a folly to sign anyone to anything longer than a two year contract at a time.
We signed Ben up for 4 years at the start of last year and he's barely played since and if he doesn't get on the park this year then that's half that contract done for absolutely squat in return. A very poor return on that investment for mine. |

I'm just so disappointed for him.
Bucks said its only a nick, but they haven't even done the scan yet. It could be worse.
He'll miss two matches, at best.
As for trading him, we wouldn't get much for him now, and he could end up being a real bargain for another club.
We've invested this much, may as well hang onto him now. _________________ I hold a cup of wisdom, but there is nothing within. |

A 'nick'...???
Might as well have been a nicks....
A) we'll get nicks out of him
B) we'll get nicks for him
C) before we know it he'll be retired and posting on nicks!! _________________ Beware the swooping Magpie. |

You have to feel for poor Reid. It must be so terribly frustrating. Seems to me that the German doc had no frigging idea about Reid's recurring injury either. I'm afraid he's another Walker. Just isn't built to take the toll of AFL footy. |

Unlike leigh, Reid has a premiership. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

FFS Reid gets more nicks than Mitch Starc. I'd be surprised if we see him until after the bye if in fact we do at all. _________________ Human behavioural studies suggest people who use a lot of swear words tend to be more honest & trustworthy. |

You couldn't make this up anymore! Just as Reid is nearly on the verge of returning another setback hinders him
It must be very frustrating for Reidy that he hasn't played consistent football for more than a year now. It's very disconcerting for him and the club as well who have invested so much time in his recovery. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |
