Witts and Adams in, Patty and Gault out, let's smash em. |
Would Bringing in Witts make us too Slow?
Play Moore I reckon as he can Rebound out of Defense |
Playing Moore against Essendon would weaken us significantly. He's not ready for senior football yet, he probably won't be till next year, yet some want him to play against a side that beat Hawthorn 2 weeks ago?
Playing on Daniher or Carlisle up forward he'd be slaughtered, absolutely smashed, you just had to see McCartin last week to realise that. |
IF Moore not being Ready for AFL. Then why is Bucks telling the Media that Moore is under real consideration to being Brought in?
Moore would not be playing as a KPD he be 3rd Tall or even better as a Loose Men in Defence where he can Provide some ReBound.
Then Moore should spend the Year in the VFL and then Build Up more over Next Pre-Season _________________ I am Da Man |

On Bomber TV,
Dr Reid was saying that Zaharakis got a knock on his knee but was moving all right & said Carlisle had a groin strain but was moving freely today.
He also said Hird was a selfish c*nt & pr*ck - but that was edited out. _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

Not sure why you're getting your knickers in knot.
It's not like we pick the team.
I'd argue there is very little difference in playing Gault with all of his 2 game AFL experience to Moore a more highly rated junior talent.
Moore needs to play as the 3rd tall forward IMO if he comes in, less pressure and responsibility while his mobility and healthy attitude towards a contest should at least allow him to apply good defensive pressure if nothing else. _________________ He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD! |

IN: Adams, Witts
OUT: Karnezis, Gault
Sad to see Patty make way, but Adams comes straight back in and Gault makes way for our other monster kid ruckman, who really needs to be played with Grundy in the seniors as much as possible. _________________ I am vengeance. I am the night. I am MagpieBat. |

do we go with a forward who can ruck a bit or a ruck who can play forward? i'm inclined to want us to retain gault and play witts when grundy needs to be managed. _________________ Purveyor of sanctimonious twaddle. |

I would not drop young Gault, he did very well. jesse White, though, may need to be looked at, just doesn't do enough yet, for mine. _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

Have Grundy and Witts improved enough so together they can dominate Bellchambers as the game progresses and give our mids more first opportunity around the stoppages?
Who has been playing as the relief ruck for Essendon, I've overlooked it? _________________ He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD! |

Funny thing. I was just looking at the pregame thread on the Essendon board at BigFooty. There's plenty of discussion there, like here, about team selection and possible player match ups.
But in 11 pages there is not one mention of Varcoe and who should play on him. Seems he's slipped under their radar.
If Varcoe can harass like he did last game it will be a big help in preventing Essendon getting that early burst on the scoreboard that they like to achieve. |

Great opportunity to debut Moore IMO, play him on Daniher and see how he goes, if he gets toweled up move him forward.
Forcast is for a absolute shit day weather wise. _________________ Defender...........
