He just mentioned that he doesn't think the pies have gone end to end this year. Why would you just say that???????

He also said that we have a very bright future,but that people will have to be patient with us.He thinks that the next year and a third could be tough for us,but we should be all right after that.He also said that we've probably lost out on every trade we've done in the last few years.

It was probably the most interesting thing i've heard a football commentator say in a long time,so well done,Dennis!

Haha, this is hilarious.
You've sure put 2+2 together their to come up with 5. Well done.

Could it be he's a professional journo/analyst/commentator who does his research and actually knows a thing or two about the game?

Nup. He sits infront of his PC all day eating doritos and reading tripe on message boards. Nailed it.

Dawes for pick 20-> Broomhead

Wellingham for pick 18-> Grundy

Pick 11+second rounder for pick 6 -> Scharenberg

Beams for Crisp, pick 5 -> DeGoey and pick 25 -> Greenwood

Wer're ahead on the first two already, confident Berg was worth giving up our second pick, and the surprise packet of Crisps combined with Greenwood and a developing DeGoey may just tip the Beams trade in our favour long term.

I'm confident that in a few years we will all be laughing about how idiotic Brisbane were to give up so much for Beams when they're so desperate for quality KPP. That trade reminds me so much of the Judd trade to the scum, and it's no coincidence that Swann has his fingerprints on both.

We're already a mile ahead on the Beams trade, even putting aside whether Crisp (who looks good) or Greenwood (who is good) can play - it got a slow, not-quite-big-enough, not-quite-hard-enough, not-quite defensive-enough, kick-down-the-line-to-a-contest midfielder out of the side and let us play more talented players (eg, Sidey, Broomhead) there. You don't lose on a trade getting rid of an overrated player like that - he was nowhere near as good as people pretended. Furthermore, we saved massively on salary cap space by not trying to keep him.

He wouldn't be the first in the media to trawl forums, Rucci used Bigfooty a lot for his material.

why would you say it 15 minutes after you just watched Collingwood go end to end in one play.

No, you give him way too much credit. he is as lazy as they come. I'll bet someone gives him a sheet of topics he is supposed to talk about at the start of the game and THEY get that content at least in part from our board. He is just going through the motions these days with his commentary, which is why he didn't even feel the need to consider whether his information had been rendered incorrect by the very game he was calling.
