Brodie Grundy: born Adelaide 15 Apr 1994.

Best wishes to a player who was playing as a seasoned adult long before coming of traditional age of maturity.

Very best wishes.

On track to win a Brownlow before he hits 25.

That is so funny!
Thrashed in 2 out of last 3 games by the Crows and the Dogs.
Was dropped to the VFL towards the end of last year.
Yes, he is going to win a Brownlow!
What is the evidence??????
Man, why don't Collingwood supporters look at reality!!!
He has potential - that is all!!

Grundy has been good so far.

He won the ruck single handed against Brisbanes much touted ruck stocks and battled manfully (when still a boy in football ruckman terms) against one of the best big men in the AFL and against a dominant Crows midfield.

He had a tremendous debut season for a ruckman (compare his figures to the debut seasons of Cox, Natanui and Sandilands and tell me I'm wrong) and a case of the second year blues as often happens.

He wont win a Brownlow because only on ballers win them now but anyway he's shown us plenty.

Happy birthday Brodie.

Kid is good, very good, and getting better.

Anyone who can point to someone playing first ruck at an AFL club who is younger and better wins the right to bag him.

Well said. How many kids are carrying a senior AFL ruck division when they are 19 & 20?
He has massive upside still to come.

Most Rucks that age are in the State League Reserves

Fraser was a better ruck and ground player than Brodie at his age.
Fraser didn't play one game in the reserves in his first years at Pieland.
Unfortunately, he was flogged by MM and the injuries mounted
and his heart seemed to get smaller as the years progressed.
It annoys me when people keep going around saying that this person
or that player is an absolute champion when all they have done so far
is NOTHING.
We have idiots saying a few of our picks of late are definite AA players!
It just is so stupid to carry on like that.
