Just received a text to AFL Club members with the link below. Clearly postage is too much for our club Shocked

This is not uncommon. It's actually done as a security measure to ensure that the person collecting the pack is the member the pack belongs to. It's also a decent ploy to actually get you to the game. Alternatively, as the message states, they WILL mail the pack out to you if it's not collected by round 7. I have a Legends membership and I received my pack in the mail via registered post in January, so I guess there are other perks that I hadn't considered. Best of luck this weeks, Seeeeeeeeeeds!

I got this SMS as well, but I am an AFL Member - I don't get it.

I am pretty sure I have not received this stuff in the past?
Normally I just get a sticker and a lanyard.

I'm pretty sure that's all they are going to give to AFL members, stickers, cards, fridge magnets etc.

I'll check it out tomorrow probably before the game, I just got the same text and I'm an AFL member too.

We enquired last Saturday at the Westpac Centre as to why we hadn't got anything in the mail yet, maybe more have been enquiring too and they've finally woken up.

As an AFL member with a Collingwood club support package, I was pleasantly surprised.

Queued and got my members pack.

To my surprise, they gave me a members cap as well.

This was standard procedure once.

after we won the flag in 2010, I bought a premiership cap, but the club stopped supplying the annual members cap to AFL members from 2011.

We had to pay for them if we wanted. Given many had just bought the premiership cap, thought it was a bit rich to try to get money for the caps from members.

Well done to the club.
