I think the coaches award their votes for laughs. How do Hill, Neale, McPharlin and Swan get 5 votes, 4 votes, 4 votes and 3 votes respectively, from one coach and none from the other? In fact, the only player that both coaches pretended was in the top 5 was Fyfe. Crazy stuff.

The votes were:

5 Fyfe and Hill
4 McPharlin and Neale
3 Fyfe and Swan
2 Ibbotson and Walters
1 Frost and Williams (who fell off Donny's list).

Think it shows that it was a fairly even performance and not much between those players.

No. I don't accept that one of the coaches actually noticed that Hill tore us a new one but the other coach thought that either Williams or Frost (as the case may be) played a better game than Hill.

Gee that's harsh in a 7 point loss to have only Swanny and Frost included.

Edit: My bad, add Williams and it more reasonable.

Goldstein is having a top year. Roos thrashed by Suns but he still top scored in AF points.

Pendles must get votes. Lewis may outvote him because they won.

And not a single vote for Pendles, who played on Fyfe and wasn't far behind him. Sad

Big game, again, for Armitage in St. Kilda's demolition of Essendon.

Well, Dyson Heppell, apparently. Hopefully, he will drop off soon and they'll start to lose to the cellar-dwellers by 150+ points.

Also, Heppell can come to Collingwood any time he likes.
