By elimination (at a quick glance, I don't see any other permutations that could lead to the same outcome), it seems that Seedsman got a 5 and a 3, Pendles got a 5 and a 2, Adams and Heppell each got a 4, Hooker got a 3, Williams got a 2 and Goldsack and Hibberd each got a one. Were the coaches even watching the same game???
Guesswork, I know, but the individual votes look like they may have been:
Coach "A" (who may have been in charge of the winning team):
5 Pendles
4 Adams
3 Seeds
2 Williams
1 Goldie
and
Coach "B" (who may have been in charge of a pack of soft losers):
5 Seeds
4 Heppell
3 Hooker
2 Pendles
1 Hibberd.
Looks like Coach "B" might really, really hate Collingwood. Who'd have thunk? |

Reckon if you swap Heppell and Adams for the respective coach, probably closer to the mark I would think.
Always rate the coaches votes higher than the media or umps awards.
Interesting that both coaches gave Frosty the cold shoulder. |

The only permutations I can find are these:
Either Bucks voted: 5. Pendles 4. Adams 3. Seedsman 2. Williams 1. Goldy
OR 5. Pendles 4. Heppell 3. Seedsman 2. Williams 1. Goldy
So either Bucks rated Heppell highly and didn't rate Adams at all, or he rated Adams and couldn't find a vote for Heppell.
I'm rather surprised at both possibilities really. I thought Heppell and Adams were virtual certainties. I reckon Bucks voted Heppell 4.
Any arguments? _________________ After the epic draw comes the decisive knockout!
Collingwood rules the world again and Mick Malthouse fulfils his destiny with the twenty ten premiership and can you hear the people sing! |

Pendles will probably get the 10 in our thrashing of Carlton. If the Ox gets votes, he will be the 13th. Pies' player to do so, this season. Frosty and/or Crisp could add to that.
Hannebery could draw the 10 against the Bulldogs but Sydney lost. Picken will be up there.
Duncan and Houli both had big games in the Cats/Tigers game. _________________ Donny.

Masten and Gaff had big games for WC. Shiel had 36 disposals for the Giants.
Gunston and Mitchell were best for the Hawks. Lewis in the minor votes. _________________ Donny.

Of the leaders, Armitage (45 disposals) and Sydney's Kennedy (31 disposals, 8 tackles, 2 goals) both had big games. Hannebery unlikely to vote.
Pendles may draw minor votes.
McDonald was, again, Melbourne's best but in a losing side.
Nat Fyfy topped 100 AF points again but there were 5 Freo players and 3 Dons who earned more. One of them was Mundy.
Sloane had an ordinary game and unlikely to draw votes. Goldstein, the same. _________________ Donny.
