Actually, interstate teams have won about half of the premierships in the last 20 years. It's really only the last 10 that have been dominated by Hawthorn and Geelong. Prior to 2007 interstate teams won 6 in a row.

True however a lot of those interstate premiership wins were against other interstate teams...
I think it would be tougher for the Hawks if a top Victorian team challenged them... they have a home ground advantage that they have used well the last 3 years - of course they lost to Sydney in 2012 and I think Sydney at their best and the hawks a little off is the best chance for the Hawks to be beaten!

The first 3 of those six flags were against Melbourne teams, the second three against non Victorian sides.
All I want is for some team to physically destroy and bury Hawthorn. It can be done and it will be done in 2016. They won't win 4 in a row.
As for the current Hawks side being the best of all time, I've never heard anything so ridiculous in all my born days. Simply not even close.

That's actually not true and only happened in 2004, 2005, 2006.
Otherwise, interstate teams defeated Victorian teams in 1992, 1994, 1997, 1998, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2012.

Duke made the point that 6 flags went to interstate teams prior to 2007 - I was correct in stating that 6 of those 3 were interstate teams beating other interstate teams... I was just addressing the comments and not going back to the early 90's...

We are going to install Windows.10 into Hal next week, to try to establish some improvement in his performance, before the free trial expires.
It's fairly obvious his Vista operating system is no longer supported by Microsux.
