I think so.

2 flags for us since 1958, and how many for the Hawks.

So disappointing.

Sad

Confused Bloody hawks look the goods they played within themselves let the Cats have their moment and then switched it on! only Port can trouble them this year! Freo just don't have enough Fife's or Pavliches in their side and all the other outfits come short of the mark. They just have class all over the field and really work as a unit. Only blistering speed up the middle like Port will test them. Still there is 6 months of footy to be played yet.

You really have to admire them. They have done it all without salary cap cheating or hand outs.

Its no wonder free agents from struggling clubs want to go there.

4 peat (and 3 peat for Brisbane at the start of the last decade) is a misnomer.

2 in succession is a repeat. One.

4 in a row for the Whoreks aint going to happen. They will not win the flag this year, lock it in Eddie.

A real possibility as they have taken full advantage of free agency.

Still a long way off though but their list is amazing.

So many variables still to play out.
As much as it pains me - remember we were once reigning premiers and rampaging towards a back to back with a win loss the next year of 20-1 and a percentage of 180% and injuries / slight drop in form happen etc and we just falter at the last hurdle.
2015 has its story unwritten (but bloody hell the Dawks look good ATM)

They have won 12 since 1961. Must admire that, alot.

Four in a row is very hard, but God they look good. I don't know who can challenge them.

I'd argue their side is better than the Geelong dominated side from just before the turn of the decade.

I hate saying this but they recruit for now, players want to go there, they'll get through this period with 3,4 or 5 flags then taper off as they haven't got many good kids coming through.

But the are unstoppable !!!

Im really beginning to wonder how they can fit all those exceptional players under the salary cap.
I find it astonishing that their playing list is willing to be paid about 60-70% of their market rate.
I just wonder if there is a Melbourne Storm type arrangement happening.
I wouldn't think that the likes of Hodge, Mitchell, Roughead, Lewis, Rioli, Frawley, Lake, Gibson etc would be on around $400K just to be nice to the club.
I know some players take unders for success but they have way to many.
Buddy is the only player of value that has left but they continue to outbid other teams for players. Don't make sense.

Long way to go.

Gawd I f#$ken hope not....Theirs is an awful brand to watch...it is just an old Footscray flood with high percentage finishers.

It's fooken faux soccer....if I want to watch soccer i'll watch actual soccer....

The bizarre thing is in football(round ball) the tactic parking the buss is more usually reserved for the less successful teams.

Relax, there's a longggggg way to go, we all know how injuries can derail a side, I don't think they'll win it this year.
