Is there any updates or news in relation to Levi's injury and how long he may be out of the side for?

I have heard it’s a 2-3 week injury but nothing confirmed.

Hope it’s not a Broke Foot or Ankle

Couldn't put the foot on the ground & was hopping around in the rooms. I get the feeling he will be missing longer than 2 or 3 weeks. Hope I'm wrong.

I wonder how they'll classify the injury, "short", "medium" or "long" term.

Worst definitions ever by the way.

We play a sport that has a 22 round season, it's all about how many games you play.

SO tell us how many games he's likely to miss, not these shit terms.

"We think it may be a short or medium term injury but it could turn out to be a long-term one. We'll just have to see how he pulls up when it cools down and the leg has been reattached". (Note, the foregoing is a reconstruction and may not actually represent the views of the Collingwood Football Club).

^ so, they found the leg. that's good news.

6-10 weeks is my uninformed guess.

this was changed so not to provide false expectation or hope. last year the club got lambasted for saying 3 weeks for reid and it invariably turned out longer than that. can't have it both ways.

I'm no expert I will go on experience from what I have dealt with on the field. If it was a break he would have been hospitalised. In saying that you can have a break and not know.
He was in major pain so it will come back to a sprain but what grade.
Grade 1 with some very slight tearing of ligaments (2-4 few weeks).
Grade 2 is with major tearing of ligaments but minor or no tendon damage (4 - 8 ) weeks.
Grade 3 major ligament and tendon damage which will require surgery and maybe a reconstruction. It could be 10 weeks Plus and going on vision to me it looks like a Grade 3.

Recovery times depend on age and response to treatment and you won't be able to fully diagnose the damage until the swelling is down.

Buckley will have to throw Youngsters into the midfield.

Update: @LeviGreenwood had scans on his ankle today + the club is hopeful of a positive outcome. Details in our injury update tomorrow.

Sounds like it might be a short term injury , interesting to see what Balmey says.

How does that sound like a short term injury? What do you expect the club to say

Sounds like he won't play round 1 but beyond that I'm not sure.

Was on the news tonight (saw but couldn't hear), did he add anything or just rehash the "injury update tomorrow" line?
