Of the Forwards alone:

We are going to be looking for Cloke, Elliot, White and Fasolo to be kicking a lot of goals early in the year,

As the year goes on you'd be hoping players like Gault, Broomy, Kaz in particular start to click and kick goals.

If we are going to play finals its these guys that have to kick the bulk of our winning scores, regularly.

Need midfield goal kickers to, Crisp maybe, Pendles.
Swanny will be on the ball and in the pocket so, will be looking for goals form him.
Steele can get forward for a goal or three.
Kennedy, Adams, Freeman are all not that realiable by foot at this stage so not banking on regular multiple goals from any of them.

I'm not sure I expect too many goals form Goldy or Blairy when forward.

Varcoe, pffffffffffft. expecting nothing at all.

FWIW: I am happy to see Moore starting his career back but, I still think he will end up as a key forward eventually.

But you expect something from White?

Broomhead, Fasolo, Elliott, Cloke, Gault and Karnezis are the guys I am counting on.

There you go I have seen the future.

Thats about right.
Add up these scores and divide by 22
and you get 7.6 goals a game!

That's from the forwards alone! You haven't taken into account the midfield, ruckman and occasionally a defender scoring a goal.

It was a bit of a joke.

Fair enough! Smile

I don't care who kicks them, as long as we have more of them than the opposition when the final siren goes.

Isn't it too soon for the Great Dane to retire and run a pub?

Of course goals need to come from a variety of options otherwise you become too predictable & dependent on too few.

Having said that, we kicked poorly for goal last year (& the rest) but are missing reliable forward options. White is an excellent kick for goal but gets edged out of contests far too often for his size & isn't good at clunking them.

I'm barracking for Witts. Either this year or next he's gunna be making his impression on the forward line when he is there. I think he is streets ahead of Grundy both as a ruck & a forward option. We really need him to crash some packs in the fwd line.

Karnezis could be anything. PK can dominate in the 2's as he did in QLD but needs to step up. Can't depend on him though except as another option in the fwd line at this point in time.

The even spread of goal kickers is reminiscent of the 2006-2011 days. It's great to see everyone contributing at the moment.
