^ I'd suggest Gault will be the chop out ruck more often than White.

De Goey needs to play. The supporters and the club need something fresh and exciting to divert their attention to. I'm sure the club will have 'better' ideas, but for mine he needs to play, and play a lot this season. Same with Moore when he has the match fitness.

In a perfect world they'd both get 15+ matches this season, whether they're out of form or not.

2nd That. After the Bad end of Last Season and Shocking end of the NAB Challenge.

Play De Goey who has played quite well over the Pre-Season. So Give De Goey a go.

With Keeffe all but gone so chances of Moore playing this year has gone up

B: Toovey, Brown, Langdon
HB: Williams, Frost, Goldsack
C: Sidebottom, Adams, Varcoe
HF: Elliott, Cloke, Karnezis
F: Kennedy, White, Gault
R: Grundy, Pendlebury, Swan
I: Fasolo, Ramsay, Broomhead, Crisp

E: Oxley, Sinclair, De Goey

Witts unavailable, so White starts, for mine.

Yes indeed - this is the team for me - and the team to beat the Brions!

Grundy will need White to give him a chop out now and then - so Gault plays up forward as FF.

Swan, Pendles, Sidey, Adams, Varcoe, Williams need to step up in the middle and apply pressure to give our backs and forwards the best chance of beating their opponents.

We can do it… C'non Pies… this game is huge as it sets up our front half of the season!

Note:- I would have Ramsay as the sub.

I think they will want Goldy to start forward and I think they will want Oxley in the side.

Karnesis would miss with Goldy up forward and Oxley back.

Cant see Ramsay getting a game ahead of sinclair.

To this side for me it would be
Ramsay, Karnesis - out.
Sinclair, Oxley - in.

Yep, but I think Blair will play for either Kennedy or Broomhead. I'd prefer not but think it will happen.

We need Oxley's kicking from the back half, otherwise we're left with Langdon as the only decent kick. Oxley might get shown up for speed at times, so we need to have him or Langdon as the loose man. Both read play well and both can take an intercept mark. Sinclair, Williams & Toovey to lock down on the quicker small forwards.

Broomhead, Fasolo or Kennedy for mine.

They have all of Taylor, Zorko and Green as small forwards, plus Christensen when he rests there, so we need 3 small defenders.

Agree , must play DeGoey has added something each time he has played. I think Karnezis should be a starter will know his way around the sausage rolls at the gabba!
