Add 2-3 weeks minimum to be match fit.

Yeah, about round 9 (against the Kangas coincidentally) or being ultra conservative round 13 after the bye.

OK nothing we can do, who replaces him in the midfield? In and under I will give Josh Thomas the 1st go. Kicking lets him down but Levi isn't a great kick either.

i agree. he knows how to get the ball and goes in without fear.

And here I was thinking Thomas had done enough preseason to be in the round 1 team on his own merits along side Greenwood and Adams.

jt was a borderline selection for mine. based on adams' form i didn't pick jt.

I used to be undecided, but now I'm not so sure.

J.T gets pushed off the ball in one on one contests far too easily at the moment.
Nothing wrong with his courage or commitment. His strength is an issue I think.

Agreed, also not the best kick, unreliable in his execution.

We looked very small vs the dogs around the contest Bont, Macrea, Stringer vs Greenwood, JT and Adams/blair.

he's always been quite a slight build. would have thought they'd try to change his body shape a bit.

Well, to be clear, what Balmey said is that Greenwood will be off his ankle for 6 weeks. So, presumably, he has to start running after that. Without wishing to be negative, this sounds like at least 10-12 weeks, doesn't it (assuming he has to get fitness and a run in the 2s before he comes back)?

Don't expect him back before mid season bye, has been placed on LTI, no rookie upgrade for him as yet. Gault upgraded for the caff.
