Eddie reckons its pretty bad so don't be surprise if it's in the 8-12 week range or under the new system medium term....

That's awful news. Beginning to think our recruits are jinxed. 6 weeks would be conservative for a fracture and then he's got to regain fitness and match conditioning. I suspect we won't see him until the second half of the season.
No matter, let's throw Jesse White into the guts. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

OK nothing we can do, who replaces him in the midfield? In and under I will give Josh Thomas the 1st go. Kicking lets him down but Levi isn't a great kick either.

Well, to be clear, what Balmey said is that Greenwood will be off his ankle for 6 weeks. So, presumably, he has to start running after that. Without wishing to be negative, this sounds like at least 10-12 weeks, doesn't it (assuming he has to get fitness and a run in the 2s before he comes back)?

Thomas just butchers the ball unfortunately and offers no body size in a midfield crying out for some.

I'd go with a collective effort of Adams, De Goey and Freeman to share the load.

To try and take a positive from a negative, i guess this means more game time for the likes of De goey, Elliott (in the middle), Freeman, Crisp et.al. And possible a reprieve for Blair.

Am i in the minority when i say that i am just SOOO glad we keep playing the NAB cup...It is so "worth it" Rolling Eyes

think i will just keep watching the World Cup till the season starts proper.

Add 2-3 weeks minimum to be match fit.

And here I was thinking Thomas had done enough preseason to be in the round 1 team on his own merits along side Greenwood and Adams.
