A lot of good lists so far that I mostly agree.

One player that really irks me at the moment is Joe Daniher from Essendon for some reason! I just can't stand his arrogance!

Forgot about old Rog. No, the current Merrett. Still recall him deliberately kneeing Rocca in the back some years ago with the only intention of wanting to physically hurt him, where he unfortunately succeeded.

Monfries & Lindsay Thomas are two current pricks I have no time for.

5 Essendon players I would have love to have seen attacked by European Wasps and White tail Spiders were Kyle Riemers, Mark Johnson, Nick Kommer, Andrew Welsh and Jake Melksham.

For me it's Percy Jones and that flog flying doormat Doull. Everytime they took to the field I would dry reach ! They acted up to the umpires for everything and whenever Carlton didn't get a free they would throw tantrums ! My most admired award went to Robbie Muir for hitting Jones.

Leigh Matthews, for what he did to Alan Atkinson on the southern wing at the G (although now half-forgiven for services rendered in 1990).
Michael Voss, for what he did to Alan Richardson one day.
Wes Lofts, for what he did to Peter McKenna every game.
John Nichols, for everything he ever did on the field, and off it.
Fraser Brown, for being an idiot.
Michael Long, for what he did to that Melbourne bloke that almost broke his neck.
Bluey Adams, for what he did to Des Healey.
The umpire who put his head in front of Phil Carman when the latter was about to bend down to pull up his socks.
Jim O'Dea, check my posting name if you need to.

Finally, surely Dean Wallis should be high on the list, for what he did to Andrew Schauble, for everything else he did on the field, for stupid enough to go punting in his club track suit, and for not doing his job of keeping an accurate register of the amount of aspirin being pushed around at Windy Hill.

From that era, don't forget Robert Walls.

Leader of all the smug, rub it in your face attitude of that era

I agree with all of that, except the "untalented" part - he survived being drafted by Melbourne, traded to Fitzroy (and over-looked when they merged with the Bears) and a serious attitude/alcohol problem to land 4 flags in 5 years with North and Brisbane. Along the way, I recall him systematically dismantling Collingwood at the MCG in the 2003 home and away season - his impact on that game (like many others he played in) is not adequately caught by his statistics. Never liked him, though.

He still hates Collingwood. Gave me the filthiest look on the Gold Coast a couple of years ago as I was wearing my Collingwood shorts. Seriously thought he was going to punch me.

Actually, he probably would have knocked you out, stolen your wallet, and then promptly headed over to BWS to stock up on your credit card.
