Really good effort by the Faz, did what needed to be done _________________ Don't count the days, make the days count. |

Faz did some really nice things tonight. Obviously, he has a long way to go to prove consistency, etc., but could be in line for top 22 this year as the fourth forward option.
The Sack is awesome. Hopefully our defense holds up so he can be the permanent defensive forward. His pressure creates goals. Its just that simple. He is also reliable from anywhere inside 55 as he has a strong kick. Our scoring drop if in the second half of the year was caused by many things. One of them was the fact that the Sack had to go back. _________________ Ohhh, the Premiership's a cakewalk ....... |

I guess real improvement as a team should see real pressure on these three players. Out of the three, I think Goldsack is most likely to be displaced, then Blair. I don't think on- percenters and pressure acts alone are going to be enough given the talent of the youngsters coming through. I think every player is going to have to be both defensive but also be dangerous in attack. _________________ Fighting against the objectification of woman. |

I have a sneaky feeling that two of them are going to be a vital part of our forward line for much of the year. _________________ Ohhh, the Premiership's a cakewalk ....... |

Goldy doesn't do enough. Averaging 11 possessions in today's AFL isnt enough unless you kick 3 or 4 goals from those. _________________ Fighting against the objectification of woman. |

I've already mentioned my belief that Blair is up against it, Fasolo has yet to cement a spot - albiet with a run of injuries to consider - and Goldy is simply a great defensive forward without huge hurt factor going the other way.
It's not that I dislike any of these boys but we have recruited a lot of young talent over the last few years and with some of them coming onstream (FINALLY) something has to give and these boys seem to have vulnerabilities - percieved or otherwise that could open the door for young replacements with more rounded games. | Fasalo is GORN unless he dramatically increases his intensity and physicality. |

Blair is pretty safe, but Goldy and Fas are on thin ice indeed, as is White, they all must extract the digit. ! _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

Reckon Fas is a tad unlucky to be the one dropped after Goldy,Varcoe and Elliott had stinkers that were as bad, or worse than his. _________________ kill for collingwood! |

Oh, my little little mate Blair!!
Yeah, he kicked a few goals because they peel off him
and go to other players like Cloke or he hides out the back
where no one can see him because he is so friggin small!
But if you watched the game properly you would see
that they used Blair in the midfield for a fair amount of time.
And what happened to our midfield? _________________ we don't eat our own at collingwood we just allow them to foul our nest. |
