Rams get the FG and lead 34:31.
Meanwhile, the other early games are all done. Pack 31:23 over Bears, Jets 31:10 over Browns, Chiefs 27:20 over Texans, Panthers 20:9 over Jags, Colts downed 14:27 by the Bills and Dolphins 17:10 over Washington. |

And the Rams stopped the Seahawks and win 34:31 in OT. Big NFC Championship replay at Lambeau next week. Pack run defence will have to better than it was today (I seem to have been saying that every season since Reggie White retired).... |

Go Big Blue!
Giants, oh my!
Loving this first half by the Giants, we've hardly had the ball yet we lead 13 - 6.

Now 16:13. Dallas have the ball early in the 4th but are about to punt it back to the Giants, who should get good field position. |

Great punt by Jones, though - and the Giants will start at their own 23. |

Winners so far today are Green Bay over the Bears, the TITANS (42:14!!!!) over the Bucs in the battle of the new QBs, the Chiefs over the Texans, the Jets (easily) over the Browns, the Rams in OT over the Seahawks, the Dolphins over Washington, the Bills (in a surprise to me) over the Colts, the Panthers over the Jaguars, the Cardinals over the Saints, the Chargers over the Lions, the Bengals over the Raiders and the Ravens in a last ditch nearly goal-line stand over the Broncos.
Eagles at Falcons and Vikings at 49ers are both to be played tomorrow. |

And Dallas has snatched victory from the jaws of defeat (they were about due to do so against the Giants - they've been doing the reverse for the last 3 or 4 season). Dallas lead 27:26 with 7 seconds to go and the kick-off to come. |

What's the point of "incomplete, short right" with 7 seconds on the clock. Isn't it time for a Hail Mary or two? |

That question proves to be academic, as the Cowboys hang on by their fingernails to a one-point win. |

Atlanta led 20:3 at the half-time break but two TDs by Philly in the 3rd quarter (DeMarco Murray rushed the first one in and caught the second one) and it is a 3-point game (20:17). Atlanta has just got the ball back at its own 12-yard line. |
