Colts (with Hasselback at QB - Luck is still injured) are leading Houston 27:20. Indi has it 2nd and 3 on the Texans' 27, with about 5 and half minutes to go.

And Adams intercepts Hoyer. The Colts have it back just inside the 2 minute warning and, barring a calamity, will get the win, here.

And Indy get into positive territory, 3 and 2 after 5 matches.

Once again, the benefit of having a QB who protects the ball was shown. Indy only made 323 yards to Houston's 444 and the passing stats were 213 to 362 but Indy had no turnovers and the Texans turned it over twice, once with that critical interception at the death, just as they appeared to be driving downfield to take the game into over-time. Frankie Gore did a power of work, too, rushing 22 times for 98 hard-won Colt yards.

I was listening to SEN tonight and Steve Salisbury, himself a 49ers fans, described the 49ers as the "worst team in football right now". How did it come to this - they seemed to be on the verge of world domination two seasons ago?

So, Rodgers hasn't thrown a pick at Lambeau since 2012 - until today, when he has thrown 2 in the first half. Green Bay leads 14:7, temporarily, against the Rams.

And the Bengals complete a brilliant comeback, after trailing by 17 points in the last quarter, to beat the Seahawks with a FG in over-time. Bengals 5 and 0 for the third time in their history.

In other games, Green Bay got over the Rams 24:10, despite Rodgers two INTs and lost fumble. Chicago got over the Chiefs 18:17 with a TD with 23 s on the clock.

Pats and Dallas just underway, along with Broncos v Raiders.

The Browns and the Ravens are 30 all in OT (still playing). Philly 39 thrashed the 'Aints 17, the Falcons got over Washington in OT, the Bucs beat the Jags 38:31 and the Bills got over the Titans 14:13.

Browns over Ravens 33:30 in OT. Pats and Cowboys locked at 3 all, a few minutes into the second quarter.

Pats lead Cowboys 13:3 a half-time, Arizona is pumping Detroit 28:7 and Oakland leads Denver 7:3, early in the third. Charles Woodson intercepted Peyton Manning for the first time in their respective 17 year careers. What's more, he did it in the end zone, denying the Broncos a score after an 82-yard drive. Unfortunately, Derek Carr just got sacked by Miller, who recovered. Still, the Raiders have held Manning up for 4th and goal at the 2-yard line.

I thought the Giants were gonna lose another close one today, 30-27 was a close call!

After what went down yesterday in the MLB with the Mets, I'm SO glad the Giants pulled off a win...

^^^ It's scary to think that a team could have a QB as good as Stafford and be so obviously hopeless. I think the coaches are probably inept.

Compare with your boys who can't get their first-choice QB on the park but are still winning, because they have a solid system (and a solid, experienced back-up QB).
