The cyclone has become a tropical low and is about to hit Brisbane, heading south/east.

It will continue on to Northeast NSW/Northern Rivers (my district) before going offshore.

North of Gympie is clear air for about 500 kms before the tail of the Darwin cyclone enters Queensland.

Will keep updating.

The system is now about 100 kms, south of Gympie.

Heavy rain at the Gabba.

Rain just about to clear Brisbane with the system moving offshore before Byron and Ballina.

We (Northern Rivers of NSW) didn't get the predicted possible deluge of 200 + mls but did get some minor flooding.
