Add Gault, Crisp and BK and I think you've got the 25. Be interesting to see who misses. Could come down to a Witts v Gault choice and Crisp v De Goey choice. You could also go either way with Sinkers and Ramsay. |

One thing I can confirm is if Karnezis gets a game round 1, this team is going to be painful to watch this season. How can you accommodate him and Jessy White in the same team, both go missinig so frequently. |

Not wishing to be harsh but can the 'Pies afford to play Williams, Frost and Toovey all on the last line of defence? Assuming any of them gets the ball, between the three of them, how are they going to find a target at half-back? |

F*ck it, here's my latest selection.
B: Sinclair Brown Langdon
HB: Williams Frost Toovey
C: Varcoe Pendles De Goey
HF: Karnezis Cloke Broomhead
F: Elliott Witts Gault
Foll: Grundy, Adams, Swan
IC: Goldsack, Crisp, Fasolo, Kennedy (Sub)
EM: White, Blair, Dwyer
We need to make a statement of intent with an infusion of new young talent. |

I'd go even further than you and drop Toovey for Ramsay or Maynard.
Unfortunately it won't happen because Buckley loves White, Blair , Dwyer and Thomas. When the penny drops after we don't win a game in the first 6 rounds, Buckley will finally realise the folly of his ways and start playing youth. We will then start winning games and Buckley will be redeemed by the end of the season as a master coach. |

I reckon that's a pretty good side. The only changes I'd make are bringing in Thomas & Blair for Witts & Fasolo. We need plenty of pace in the team against the Bruised Bum Liars. Can't see having Witts, Gault and Grundy in the same team. Too top heavy. And an extra mid option in Thomas allows for more flexibility than a forward back up in Fasolo. _________________ I'm not the pheasant plucker I'm the pheasant plucker's son, and I'll be plucking pheasants til the pheasant plucker comes! Brions have a couple of handy bigs though in the Berger and big Stef. If Witts is fit then I'd love to see both him and Grundy in the 22 along with Gault and White. |

Take 3...
B: Toovey, Brown, Langdon
HB: Williams, Frost, Goldsack
C: Sidebottom, Adams, Varcoe
HF: Elliott, Cloke, Gault
F: Kennedy, Witts, Karnezis
R: Grundy, Pendlebury, Swan
I: Fasolo, Ramsay, Broomhead, Crisp
E: Oxley, Sinclair, De Goey
One change, Witts in for White. Grundy and Gault to shoulder the vast bulk of the ruck minutes, Witts to start from the goal square. _________________ I am vengeance. I am the night. I am MagpieBat. |
