some more locals in Sydney arrested for allegedly planning to do some public beheadings.
Quote: | THE two men arrested in terror raids yesterday had been living in a small granny flat at the back of a share house in Fairfield, where neighbours today spoke of their disbelief.
Omar Al-Kutobi, 24, and Mohammad Kiad, 25, were arrested at the flat on Riverview Rd, Fairfield about 4pm yesterday by the Joint Counter Terrorism Taskforce after a receiving information that an attack was imminent.
Police allege the pair had armed themselves with a machete and large hunting knife and were due to carry out a terror attack yesterday before police swooped. |

Thank god they've been arrested if the planning of committing violent attacks on innocent civilians is real. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

And that moron Abbott is so desperate for a headline that he has already prejudiced the trial. He is so desperate to play the terrorism card yet again, so hopelessly out of anything else to get his own train-wreck leadership position out of the headlines that he's prepared to sacrifice the prospect of a successful prosecution. What a disgrace he is. _________________ Let's eat Grandma. Commas save lives! |

^ Abbott is not an asshole. He is Prime Minister of Australia. According to some, he is still a citizen of the United Kingdom. Either way, that makes him an arsehole. _________________ Let's eat Grandma. Commas save lives! |

No one voted for him, enough people voted to get rid of Labor to put him in power. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

No matter how bad Abbott is, he's an improvement over Rudd. _________________ Fighting against the objectification of woman. |

Yep. That was Rudd's great achievement, and a magnificent one it was, though I'm inclined to suspect that it's really Swan we have to thank for it.
But from that point on, he was a terrible. Probably the second-worst Prime Minister we have ever had. Incompetent, cowardly and traitorous. It's all very well to say that Abbott is the worst Australian PM of all time (which he is) but the reason we are suffering under Abbott today is Rudd's panic, monumental ego, and utter lack of loyalty. _________________ Let's eat Grandma. Commas save lives! |

If the truth on this ever comes out I'm personally backing that neither of them had the slightest frigging clue what to do and some unnamed public servant came up with the plan. Swan, like Krudd, gets credit for achievements that he never devised. He was an utter fkn spud. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |
