That's terrible news and I hope he makes a complete recovery.

After the Phillip Hughes tragedy and the continuing studies of the long term effects of brain trauma on athletes who play contact sports, it's a stark reminder of the risks athletes take.

Terrible news but it sounds like his condition is stable now which is good to hear.

You're definitely right Flashman. Incidents like this and Phillip Hughes back in November are a reminder to all elite athletes that there are potential risks to playing sports like football and cricket even if they're not all that frequent.
