With the greatest respect the last thing I want to see in full page colour is male dangling bits - they just aren't attractive at all - useful yes - but not visually attractive

Trust me 30 years of nursing - young, old and inbetween - helmets, cheesies - white , black, yellow, tan - big, small or medium - they just aint pretty end of story

I don't know, I think I can appreciate genitalia of both sexes. And I've known plenty of women who enjoy male genitalia on the grounds of utility and aesthetics alike. 
Personally, I'd be all for more nudity in newspapers. But I agree with most here that context-free gawking should be left to the publications that specialise in such things.

I think she's right to an extent in that media outlets tend to reflect cultural (or subcultural) norms more than they shape them, but I think that they still do both. TV, news, advertising are all, at the end of the day, stimuli. We can't put them off to one side as if the construction of the self and ideological development only relate to the "real world". Surely, psychology doesn't work like that.
