Sadly an accident or error of judgement when on a motorcycle doesn't leave much wriggle room when it comes to the difference between injury and death.

Cheers swoop. i agree, i only ventured onto the road once on a motorbike, and i had 2 motorcross bikes for a few years. just not worth the risk IMO. His brother and a mate were behind him and saw the whole thing, apparently the truck changed lanes to turn with no indicator, he had no where to go. Just awful. its been a very long day, cheers everyone, appreciated.

Revisit, I’m 54, not ready to go by a long shot. I’ve watched the carnage left behind of thre 50 something’s that passed. Heart attack, cancer, accident. The pain on the faces of my niece and nephew, of my own kids, nope it’s far to young. Life just stinks sometimes. Yeah you can say be grateful for the fifty he had, we had with him. I want more.

I walked my 87 year old father in law into get his eye injected yesterday, in a last ditch effort to save his sight in the eye that still only just works. He could only read the hugs A at the top. Cancer dementia and now nearly blind. He’s buried 2 sons and a son in law.

The stages of grief. I guess I know where I’m at today. Cheers.

The death of Sudan the last male Northern white rhino. And they still have to have armed guards for his surviving daughter and grand daughter. SOme Indonesian animals are going the same way. At least he lived a reasonable life but it would be much better if he could have roamed about with his herd on the plains of Kenya and laid down under a tree and passed away. Mankind is full of bastards.

About to go and say farewell to our adored 13 year old Lab Rajah, such a beautiful companion we will miss him terribly. We found out that he has a tumour on his spleen.
