No where near as sad as TPs news but nevertheless still sad, sort of. When my dog had puppies the was a cheeky little black and white one with a big star on his back and I named him Leon. I wanted to keep him but the girlfriends sister wanted him and they didn.t have a dog so reluctantly I gave him to her but the name had to stay. She sent us movies of him playing and being well a Leon. Apparently he became a favourite in the units. 2 days ago someone stole Leon. Whilst I hope he went to a good home the father was stolen by Cambodians a few months ago and put in the cooking pot. He is quite distinctive so if they see him they will get him back but dogs arelike trash here. The kids lose interest and they dump in a temple or abandon them near a lake.

That's awful, I hope you get him back.

I just can't stand hearing about the dog festivals and things in Asian countries, it's just so disgusting. Same goes for things like bull fighting, at least the bull has a chance to do sone damage. People are horrible creatures sometimes

Good luck little Leon xx

Cody Lange, Magpies goal attack, has done her ACL and will require another knee reco.

She had a reco on her right knee last year and has now done her left (injured at training on Monday).
Had worked hard to get into the team and was starting to get some continuity in game time.

Sad

I think I have worked hard to get into the team and was starting to get some continuity in game time, but Mike may have reset my memory.

Terrible news for the Kentucky Kid. Not sounding good, severe brain trauma. Not a nice prognosis to weigh up.

^ Yes indeed. We didn't know him but thanks to our dearly departed friend Dieter we had amazing access to the pits across the world and he was a really likeable, fun and down to earth bloke - despite his silly accent- and he could seriously ride!!

Had to take my 10 year old Lab to the vet this morning, he didn't want to go for a walk this morning and then wouldn't even eat a dog biscuit! Had to carry him as he couldn't or wouldn't walk!

Vet is going to run some blood tests and keep him in overnight, prognosis not the best at this stage.

Bugger, hopefully, being a lab an all, he's just eaten something he shouldn't have, and it's affected him, and he will be ok. Thinking of you mate, dogs are family too.

Update on Congo the Lab, looks like good news he has a few problems with his kidneys but the vet seems confident that they can fix him up and hopefully will be able to bring him home tomorrow with some antibiotics.
Our 12 year old Lab is missing him and is a bit confused about where he is!
