Just watching the havoc the storms in Melbourne caused on the tele - WTF ? We live 16 Kms from the CBD and hardly a breath of air and not one drop of rain all day - if we hadn't seen it on the tele would never of even know it had rained!

Hope we get some of the promised weekend rain - garden and especially the lawn could do with it.

Pfft! That was old rain you were seeing from four years ago. Seeing on the TV means nothing. Don't you know that nearly everything you see on TV is a repeat?

Hah,

clouded over here, temperature dropped quite a bit and started raining. All while I was in the pool. Confused

Get out of pool, clouds go away, rain stops, temperature back to over 30. Confused

(If you can do that and it rains - real rain, not this piddly on-again, off again stuff - there is the medicinal beverage of your choice on its way by express delivery.)

My pools about 28-30 degrees! It's fantastic! I only got out because the Lightning looked to close. No rain. Only a few spots this afternoon for about 33 seconds. Not enough to give the fake turf a drink!

Yeah nah I'm done with the pool for the evening, despite alcoholic inducements.

top 6 inches were toasty, next foot was refreshing, rest of it was VERY refreshing. Loving it.

Have to get out tomorrow, do some work in the yard, and jump in while I can before it cools down this week and I have to go back to work on Monday. Sad

Just caught the rain from yesterdays storm which was good, was absolutely bucketing down for a while, was drenched as I was working outside in it. Water tank nearby was overflowing enough to cause a creek to be formed running down towards the actual creek a couple of hundred metres further down the hill

Yet 5km away and Box Hill got absolutely smashed

Totally bummed at this weather. Did finish cleaning out all the upstairs cupboards though. Well the kids just need to finish theirs. Now for down stairs. Hmm, better wait for the too much scotch added to the Pepsi max can to wear off first! **** it Foxtel movie time! Might watch 'into the storm' seams appropriate!

Not fair not fair not fair. Definitely going to Florida for winter!

Wacthed into the storm last night. Not a great movie, but amazing special effects. The hail storm is authentic.
