Dogs got shade and water in the back yard, I've got both aircons going and sweating bullets while doing housework cos I'm bored and can't get outside. | you coulda let the poor old fella in Stui? He probably would have just laid on the tiles. Even my bald dog does that in the heat! You wouldn't know he was even there! And he would be soooo greatful. |
Hmmmmm we seem to be agreeing a lot lately. |
That's nice for you two to agree.
You're right, I could bring him inside, into a totally unfamiliar environment when it gets too hot. I could also do it when there's loud noises like fireworks. I suppose I could also do it when it's too cold, when it's wet, when it's dark, the possibilities are endless.
Or, just thinking out loud here, I could have an outside dog who doesn't come in the house and, with a largish backyard that has grass, dirt and plenty of shelter, is quite comfortable finding an appropriate place to relax in any kind of weather.
When it's hot, giving him a squirt with the hose is all he needs. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Agree with you Stui, dogs are fine if they are used to being outside give them shelter and water and they are happy. Besides my dogs would hate coming inside in the summer as we have no AC, it is cooler outside. _________________ Cheers big ears |

So I have a largish dog that lives inside although he is often forced outside when we are eating ect.
He often tucks me into bed. |

Hahahahaahahaha
I'm laying on my bed, tapping away, Molly is curled up next to me on her pillow, max is on hubby's pillows (til he catches him!). I'll take them wees's before bed time, and put my dressing gown at the end of the bed for max to sleep on when he gets down for a drink in the middle of the night. Molly will sleep on her pillow next to me, unless it gets cold, then she will sneak under the Donna!
I don't tuck my dogs in either Stui!!
That's a clever dog, 1061!
When Molly doesn't wanna get up:

What's Ect? Does the dog really like it which is why you have to boot him when you eat it? _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Surely I don't have to explain "ect" to you.
Best part is when I wake up and he has his head on my pillow eyes wide open and it's obvious he's been watching me sleep.
Worst part is that he is racist, doesn't bark or react to white people at all but others get a full on woofety woof woof. |

I like my heat dry and not this humid shite.
I reckon I must have filled up my 600ml water bottle at least 10 to 12 times over 7 hours while at work and yet not a hint of needing a pee.
Needless to say I sweat like a bastard.
P.S-We have some rain coming our way starting from tomorrow.
A hell of a lot of rain if the forecast comes true.
Not sure I've ever seen anything like that forecast for Victoria at this time of the year.
It'll be like our very own wet season. _________________ He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD! |
