Check out the radar, there's a nice little storm over Ballarat at the moment and heading here, if it doesn't drift too far south.

It certainly is Stui!

The weather radar suggests though Melbourne will miss most of the rain seen in Ballarat and the surrounding towns but it will see a small patch of rain however.

I live about 20ks from Ballarat and we had about 5 minutes of heavy rain then it just fizzed out.

Did not see any Smoke but Still was Close enough to be a Worried. About 10-15 Minute Drive.

I was in Hastings this Morning to help my Uncle to do shopping as his Car Broke Down this Morning

The BOM website stating Ballarat has had 9.8mm of rain since 4pm today.

Not to bad given how hot it was earlier on.

Amen.

I turned mine on at 9am Friday morning and left it on until I woke up at 10am this morning.

Same here but I gave my air con some respite for about three hours in the early hours of Saturday morning.

I'm always paranoid it will stop working and hence continuously having it on might risk it being damaged and being unworkable. Thankfully the hot weather only lasted two days so this hot patch wasn't too bad in terms of longevity.

Too hot for me! I'm a total lightweight when it comes to heat. 20° or lower, thanks.

Dogs got shade and water in the back yard, I've got both aircons going and sweating bullets while doing housework cos I'm bored and can't get outside.
you coulda let the poor old fella in Stui? He probably would have just laid on the tiles. Even my bald dog does that in the heat! You wouldn't know he was even there! And he would be soooo greatful. Smile
