* Steve Elkington the golfer allergic to grass (tough when your a golfer)
* Shane Watson allergic to cricket
* Ian Thorpe was allergic to chlorine
* Paula Radcliffe UK Olympic marathon winner "asthma allergy"

And unfortunately BEN REID is allergic to AFL. A pity but like Michael Clarke our esteemed Cricket Captain whom can't get through one match unscathed poor Ben can't get through one either. This very sad and unfortunately career threatening.

No, passionate pie man but you have to agree Reid's inability in the first 3 years of his career and last 2 years of his career have yielded negligible game time and recurrences of injury far beyond acceptable.

Yeah, those first 3 years were killers, expected AA honours in each, hugely disappointing he could achieve that. Clearly Buckley's fault.

His first 3 years were development years, which is not uncommon for talls. As for his last two years, in 2013 he missed a total of one game after being sniped by Lindsay Thomas, and managed to kick 25 goals in 8 games playing forward, with some saying he was the equal (or better) of Harry Taylor as a swingman. This is the first year of his career that has been truly affected by injury.

Get a $£$%^%%$ clue before you post tripe.
